Psalm 73:24,25 – You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
Choosing between directionless wanderings or the path that leads to life seems like an obvious choice and yet so many decide to tackle the journey on their own. If you want to find the better path and are asking “how can I know the way?”, then Jesus answers, ‘I am the Way’.
Following Him is the only way to true fulfilment. He guides us into the abundance of life. He listens to every concern and assures us of every decision we bring before Him. He understands us completely and He longs for us to experience every goodness that he offers. He can navigate us through uncertainty, he brings comfort for our sorrows, and can attend to our doubts and our fears. He is ever present through the highs and the lows, his ear is always open to our call, and his Word continuously lights our way.
When our final day on this earth is completed, our heavenly Father will then receive us into his glorious kingdom. Is there anything on earth more desirable than that?
