My Whole World

The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. Psalm 93:1

I shared this verse at the beginning of 2022 but thought it was worth sharing again as a reminder that the Lord reigns supreme over all things. He has reigned from the beginning, He is reigning now, and He will reign eternally. Absolutely everything is under His control and the world turns according to His will. He rules with majesty and He rules in power.

I find reassurance in the fact that if the Lord holds the whole world in His hands, then He holds my whole world in His hands. Everything that is precious, every person that I love, all of my hopes and all of my fears, are held in the hands of God. I may get pushed and shoved about by outside forces but I can never be taken out of the Lord’s hands, for everything that He has established will never be moved.

May you find peace and comfort in knowing that when the Lord reigns in your life, you are safe, for your world is in His hands.
