Lift Him Up

The Lord lives and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation. Psalm 18:46

What a great verse of praise and one that is sure to put a song in your heart. Our God is not an idol of hewn stone or wood. He is living and active, Sovereign in the heavens and over all the earth. His breath alone creates life and it is by that breath that we live and move and have our being. Our God is the rhythm of our hearts.

We offer praise to Him because He is deserving of all honour, and we demonstrate this by bowing in reverent worship. We exalt Him, raising Him high above all, to a position that only He deserves, for He is the only one who sacrificed His life that we might live. He alone commands power over death; He alone is the Saviour of the world.

Give to the Lord the blessing He is due and embrace the life that He has given.
