Live The Life You Were Called To

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence. _{2 Peter 1:3}

This verse tells us of the divine power of God, a power that has given us everything we need to live the life he has called us to.

[He] saved us and called us to a holy calling… of his own purpose and grace. _{2 Timothy 1:9}

The Lord knows the path that is ahead for you. He knows where the highs and lows are. He knows where the opportunities are to share his love and compassion. He knows where the difficulties lie and he knows the times you are going to struggle. For every single day of your journey with Him, he has granted you all that you will need. You have been completely provided for; you are perfectly equipped for His calling.

God has granted you the confidence to stand in his promises. He grants you the resources and energy you need to fulfil the plan for your life. Within you there is peace for the turmoil, strength for the struggle, wisdom for the decisions, courage for evangelism and boldness for upholding his truth. He has granted you the ability to know the deep things of the Father and to strive for the excellence of the Son; to walk in a manner worthy of your salvation.

All these things, and countless more besides, have been given to the sons and daughters of God, so that they may be competent, equipped for every good work ^(2Tim3:17).

“And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” _{James 1:4}

Through faithfulness and steadfastness, you can be fully effective in living the life you were called to because the divine power of God is alive within you.
