Who I am, Where I am

Let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. 1 Corinthians 7:17

Each person is a unique creation of God and each will have gifts and talents specifically tailored to them. Only you can be you.

There is so much peer pressure, especially on the younger generation, to be someone else. There are a whole host of media platforms filled with adverts and influencers, and it is easy to see how some people feel intimidated about their own image, and feel pressured to change.

Gloria Gaynor sang, ‘I am what I am and what I am needs no excuses.’ We are made by God and in the image of God, and you never need to change anything that he has made, and you certainly don’t need to excuse it. Forget the influencers of the world; follow the way of the Lord and lead the life that he has for you.

God has designed everything about you, and there is a purpose for you in the place where you are. Live your life according to God’s plan and not according to someone else’s notion of how you should live.

Don’t be afraid to be who you are, for you have been fearfully and wonderfully made.

Never doubt where you are, ‘for I know the plans I have for you’ says the Lord.

You are creatively made and strategically placed. Trust the Creator and let his truth be your influence.
