For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
You were meticulously crafted with thought, with care, and with expectation. You were fashioned and created with purpose. Your life has meaning; you have meaning, and there is kingdom work to be done which has your name on it.
Kingdom work is hands-on which means we are to be actively involved. God does not want you standing on the side-lines simply cheering others on with shouts of, “keep up the good work,” and “you’re doing a great job!” God wants you active. Are you making yourself available to God’s will? Are you allowing Him to use you to your full potential? When the Lord asked, “who will go…”, Isaiah answered, “here I am…” making himself available to whatever work the Lord had for him.
There is no shortage of good work to be done for there is so much need all around us. People need kindness, they need genuine care and thoughtfulness. Let the love of God within you be borne out in practical ways by actively seeking opportunities to lighten someone else’s burden, for in doing so you will enrich both their life and yours.
God has filled you with ability and resources for good and wonderful works, so walk in them and fulfil your potential.
