Who is the man who fears the Lord? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. Psalm 25:12
God has given us clear instructions on how to live a life that pleases him, but he also instructs us on choosing the right individual path. Just as each person is unique, so is the path that the Lord has for us to follow. Each plan and purpose is tailor-made; I cannot walk in your plan and you cannot walk in mine.
Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Psalm 25:4
When you defer to God’s sovereignty, he opens up the way before you and directs you by his Spirit. Be open to His instruction and walk the path He has chosen for you. Listen for His voice guiding you and be responsive to his teaching, for it will take you into a deeper relationship with him.
As you move forward in 2023, let your directive be – I will serve the Lord with confidence, and follow the path of His choosing.
