Encouragement, God's Presence, Truth

I Am Fully Known (3/3)

You Know All My Circumstances

You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. Psalm 139

One of the most comforting promises of God is, “I will never leave you, or forsake you.” When I think on this promise, I hear the Lord saying to me – ‘I’ve got you. No matter what happens, I’ve got you.’ So, when I need to step off the daily rollercoaster, I hear, ‘just rest, I’ve got you’, and when I feel that the water might just go over my head, I hear Him say, ‘just breath, I’ve got you.’

In all our circumstances, the Lord is behind us and before us, hemming us in on every side. The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Ps27. We have no need to fear any circumstance because He has laid his hand upon us. He is our protection; He is our shield. There is no situation through which the Lord does not stand beside us.

When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. Psalm 94

Whatever the cares of your heart may be, believe that God our Father can and will provide comfort of equal measure that will sustain you and nourish your soul. He is the God of all hope; the giver of grace and provider of solace.

You guide me with your counsel. Whom have I in heaven but you? There is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. Ps 73:24,25

At the end of another week, give thanks to the One who holds you in the palm of His hand, and believe with all your heart that He is able to lead you through every situation.

What an amazing truth – I AM FULLY KNOWN – all my ways, my thoughts, and my circumstances. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me!
