His Voice

Psalm 29:4 – The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Taking time each morning to listen for the voice of the Lord will enrich your soul and strengthen you for the day ahead. Psalm 68 says, ‘to him who rides in the heavens, the ancient heavens; behold, he sends out his voice, his mighty voice.’ How incredible for us that the Lord sends out his voice across the earth for us to hear. A voice full of power; a voice full of majesty.

We need to listen for his voice and respond to it. We will know it, for Jesus has said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John10:27).

Look around you today and see the power of the Lord’s voice displayed in the majesty of his creation. He spoke and it came to be. Let the power and majesty of His very being sink into your heart and mind.

Be conscious of His voice today as you actively listen to what he is saying to you.
