My Refuge

Psalm 54

O God, save me by your name, and vindicate me by your might. O God, hear my prayer, give ear to the words of my mouth.

O God, Elohim, Mighty One with all authority, I have been judged to be unworthy of living; defend me against the opposition and claim me by your own mastery! Lord, hear my cry and my plea.

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.

If you have eyes to see then look! Elohim, the Mighty One, is my helper. He is the one who holds me up through the trial. He is my salvation.

With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good.

I will freely give of what I have as a sacrifice to your goodness and mercy toward me. I will be ever thankful to Yahweh my God for His constant blessing on my life.

For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.

Through every trial and every trouble that has come upon me, the Lord my God has been faithful and delivered me from each one. He will not forsake me now. He is always true; my refuge and my strength. Those who come against me will not prevail for the Lord will judge the wicked in due time and He will pour out His blessings upon the righteous.
